Writing for the First Time

We all are seeking something in our lives. Maybe some dream house, a well-paid job, or a lavish lifestyle. As the number of people increases so does their wishes and goals. My reason behind coming to content writing was a similar one.

People say I am good at writing and owing to my education so far I know quite a bit about a few things in life. I just happened to come across Content Vidya course through an advertisement that flashed on my Instagram page.

I just clicked on it and it landed on a page where it spoke about the course details and somehow after reading all that I felt like this course is just made for me and why not just give it a try and check. I signed in and then my mind was filled with a lot of doubts about whether I will be able to make it through.

The day arrived and we started our first class. Uma Madhavi madam introduced herself in a very comforting manner. The course started and as the slides went by it felt like this is amazing.

If your character can write, so can you

-Uma Madhavi

Since it was a content writing workshop I had thought of it as it would be something very heavy and vague as creativity has no boundaries. But as Uma Madhavi madam started conducting the lecture I realized that everything was perfectly sorted and the lectures were extremely knowledgeable.

The assignments were fun to do but the deadline was a reason for distress. The guidelines are very useful and work as a handbook to content writing.

The third day of the workshop covered copywriting. Copywriting is a challenging but equally creative task. I had to scratch my head to finish the assigned task. After absorbing the golden mantra for storytelling I started working on the task. But this task was equally promising and helped me find a new dimension of our creativity.

Finding a niche is a challenge that was very skilfully handled and resolved by my coach.

Later we dived into the ocean of blogging and obtained valuable insights and with a dicy yet confident mind I now write my first blog.

Uma Madhavi madam guided us to stay away from plagiarism, spinning and to be unique and original. These noble values will help us reach new heights in this field.

Rudyard Kipling has said

They copied all they could copy, But they couldn’t copy my mind; And I left them sweatin’ and stealin’, A year and a half behind.

So it is the ideas that we are truly blessed with and can help us reach new heights.
